Frank Nardi Jr.; recently nominated for and won ‘Best Supporting Actor in a Play’ by BroadwayWorld Philadelphia for his performance as young Tommy McDonald in Ray Didinger’s ‘Tommy and Me’. (This production of Tommy and Me was also awarded ‘Best Play’ and ‘Best Ensemble/ Play’ from BroadwayWorld Philadelphia in 2018.)

In addition to acting…

Frank has performed as a supernumerary in 11 productions with the Philadelphia Opera Company. For the past two decades he has been an active percussionist; specializing in congas, bongos, djembe, cajon and drums. He has also served as an educator with P.A.P.A (Pennsauken Alliance of Performing Arts) for 7 years and assisted The University of the Arts by teaching in their pre-college Summer program.

A teaching moment

Frank helped direct 40+ workshops for students across the Lehigh Valley during the 2017 Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival Willpower Tour. (Pictured: Frank leads the Quakertown 12th grade AP English students attending a stage combat workshop at their high school.)
